I work at the frontier of litigation.
Comfortable in underwriting all forms of commercial litigation, I have particular expertise in collective redress before the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT), shareholder and securities litigation under sections 90/90A FSMA, and the English representative action under rule 19.8 following Lloyd v Google.
Whilst at LCM, I originated, underwrote and managed LCM's c. £50 million investments in Stasi v Microsoft and Consumers' Association v Apple, two landmark abuse of dominance collective actions. I also underwrote class actions in Canada and certain offshore jurisdictions.
Prior to working at LCM, I was a senior member of Woodsford's London team, where I primarily underwrote English and overseas securities litigation and Australian class actions arising from the Hayne Royal Commission and Dieselgate.
Before moving to the world of disputes finance in 2019, I practised commercial litigation for almost a decade at disputes powerhouse Stewarts, having previously trained at Herbert Smith (now Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer).
I qualified as a Solicitor in 2010 and as a Solicitor Advocate in 2013. I no longer practise as a Solicitor (or Solicitor Advocate) but remain current on developments in the law relating to collective redress so that Eralis Partners can give the best commercial advice to our clients.
I hold a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics from Imperial College and a Master of Letters in Management, Economics and International Relations from St Andrews.
