I work at the frontier of litigation.

A bald man with glasses, a beard, and a mustache, wearing a white shirt, gray tie, black suspenders, and sitting against a beige wall.

I founded Eralis Partners to work alongside claimant teams, bridging the gap between claim holders and capital providers through rigorous underwriting insight and independent structuring support.

Experienced in underwriting all forms of commercial litigation, I have particular expertise in collective redress before the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT), securities litigation under sections 90/90A FSMA, and the English representative action under rule 19.8 following  Lloyd v Google.

Leveraging six years in the funding industry and a decade in disputes as a former commercial litigator, I combine courtroom insight with an investor’s eye for risk, pricing and portfolio construction.

Whilst at LCM, I originated, underwrote and managed LCM's c. £50 million investments in Stasi v Microsoft and Consumers' Association v Apple, two landmark abuse of dominance collective actions. I also underwrote class actions in Canada and certain offshore jurisdictions.

Prior to working at LCM, I was a senior member of Woodsford's London team, where I primarily underwrote English and overseas securities litigation and Australian class actions arising from the Hayne Royal Commission and Dieselgate.

Before moving to the world of disputes finance in 2019, I practised commercial litigation for almost a decade at disputes powerhouse Stewarts, having previously trained at Herbert Smith (now Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer).

I qualified as a Solicitor in 2010 and as a Solicitor Advocate in 2013. I no longer practise as a Solicitor (or Solicitor Advocate) but remain current on developments in the law relating to collective redress so that Eralis Partners can provide commercially informed advice grounded in current legal developments.

I hold a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics from Imperial College and a Master of Letters in Management, Economics and International Relations from St Andrews.
